After our kitchen renovations wrapped up in December, I found myself face to face with granite counters for the first time in my life. I quickly realized that I had no idea how to keep them clean and the few different cleaners that I tried left quite a bit of streaking.
My friend recommended a DIY granite cleaner that she uses. It sounded so simple, and I had all of the ingredients on hand.
You will need:
(1) clean, empty spray bottle
1/2 cup vodka
2 cups water
(6) drops of liquid dish soap
Several drops of essential oil (to mask the alcohol smell). I used lemon.
How to make:
Add all ingredients to bottle.
Place top on bottle and shake.
That’s it!
And lo and behold – it worked!!
