Isn’t it funny how sometimes some of your favorite recipes come out of those what-the-heck-am-I-going-to-make-for-dinner moments?
Last week I knew that I was going to make chicken for dinner. However I had no idea what to put on it or what kind of flavor I was in the mood for. I started out with salt and pepper and then for some unexplained reason, grabbed the grated Parmesan as well.
Can you believe it? The taste was out of this world! It was similar to good old Shake ‘n Bake that I grew up loving. I liked this version even better because I knew exactly what ingredients went into the meal.
So here’s how to make one of the simplest dinners – ever.
You will need:
Chicken thighs or drumsticks
Salt
Pepper
Parmesan Cheese, grated
How to make:
1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
2. Arrange chicken in baking dish. Sprinkle each piece with salt and pepper. Coat each piece with a dusting of grated Parmesan Cheese.
3. Bake chicken at 400 F for 1 hour. We like to serve this dish with a side of rice and a veggie!
