So I guess I was on a cake pop high after a successful first attempt at baking/dipping them. I had teacher gifts and Mother’s Day gifts on the brain and had an idea.
I took a small clay pot and glued a piece of Styrofoam to the bottom. I arranged three of our cake pops into the Styrofoam and filled in the empty space with shredded paper. Then I used chalk to write a short message on the side of the pot.
I thought the end result was so cute – and could be adapted for a variety of special occasions. You could give these as gifts or use them as party/shower centerpieces/favors. Since the cake pop icing and sprinkles, as well as the paper shred, can be any color combo you’d like, it can match any theme.
